I never had a Corbin that didn't require minor tweaking to get set up....washers, shims and/or sliding things around

they do have the comfort level of a cinder block when new, wrap up a towel, put it on the seat and beat it with a rubber mallet once in a while

In fact I finally ordered one for my 2002 900ie last week and just got the tracker number

To me the Corbin has a hands-down stellar profile without the seat cowl...

the scalloped tapering passenger section on the dual seat perfectly compliments the old Monster's profile and line

the Sargent IMHO looks fat although it may be more comfortable

but these days 3-4 hours of riding with breaks thrown in are about the extent of my old bone's endurance

I'll post up next week when it shows and I mount it...scheduled to arrive next Thursday

I tried a corbin for about 30,000 km's on my 900 monster, including a number of long trips and it never did break in much. It was a brick when I bought it and a brick when I took it off.

I probably shouldn't say this as I will one day likely try to sell it here, but I hated every second on that f*#king thing.

There's already plenty of ppl saying exactly that. Didn't stop me from buying mine. I loved, and still do, the look of the thing.

I keep my corbin for 2-up riding and have a homeade seat pad that is similar to the airhawk. Despite my hate for the corbin, nothing else works as well for the passenger.
