Currently I am running a 43/15. The 43 is quite peppy for city riding but out on the highway it gets pretty buzzy over 65mph. What might be a better gearing for a more even compromise? 41, 40, or 39? Im looking for just a bit better engine comfort when cruising at around 75/80mph.

900?

I like 15/41 with a 180 tire.

I'm running the same on my 900.

750.
I was leaning toward 40 or 41. Wish I could put on a 180. But that would require a wider rear wheel. Next season...big rear wheel and a 900 or 695 head swap.

Thanks for the input.

I run 15/39 on my M750 commuter.

If you do a lot of city riding, I'd say 15/41.
