Rizoma Bar ends and Reverse Retro mirrors
«

I got a set of rizoma reverse retro mirrors used, and bought a set of rizoma bar ends to mount them on. I got the bar ends from Motivation Accessories, and they have a rubber expanding thing that's supposed keep the bar end stable and in the bar. They don't work. The bar ends rotate or move when I ride.
I searched here and saw that there is a metal collet used on some bar ends instead of the rubber thing. The guy I talked to at Motivatoin Accessories is looking into this. He doesn't know if its a rizoma part or not. Any suggestions?

i had that issue once. I just wrapped the rubber with several passes of electrical tape so that it can create more surface area.
done.

I tried regular electrical tape and friction tape. The mirrors/bar ends keep moving.

My Rizoma bar ends came with a metal expanding piece as well as the rubber thing. The instructions showed to use the metal one if you are mounting mirrors on the bar ends.
