My instrument panel gauge windows have a lot of wear and tear which I don't think can be cleaned.  Anyways, can I substitute them with glass windows?  Would look much better than plastic.  Still haven't opened up the casing becuase I don't have a small enough hex bit on hand.

If yours are like mine they're moulded in place, so not easy to replace.

They are easy to polish though.

Oh, ok, mine has a burnt hue to it and looks like its from the inside.  Didn't know they can be polished; thanks.  What do you use to polish yours?  I have some Brasso & rubbing compound lying around.

I just used rubbing compound. If they're fogged on the inside, you need to disassemble them, which isn't hard, but be careful of the seal.

Thanks ;)  The rubbing compound could not have been better...I tried it for the windshield as well but the results weren't as impressive.  Wonder if the shield is made of a different type of plastic than the speedo plastic.
