The battery charged and good, no significant voltage drop when trying to turn it over, starter motor earth & positive, if that's good, grab a wiring diagram and check every connection (clean & tight) in the starter circuit.

Its always the simple things.
The problem was an oversight on my part. The line that connects the starter switch to the starter, there is a little rubber washer that I had in the wrong place.
I assembled:
Connector
Washer
Nut

When instead it should have been:
Washer
Nut
Connector
Nut

Basically I was insulating the line instead of letting it make its connection.
