^ cool.  Are you satisfied with the setup now or will you look into SBK forks?

I am fairly happy with the setup now.  Can't imagine it being much better as I have never ridden anything better lol.  My average speed was up 10mph in the same turns I was running the day before.   waytogo

Thanks for the report BTW. It's amazing what many think they know about suspension. Angry It probably helps to have tuned quite a few off-road suspensions as that teaches you a bunch in a real hurry. Same principles apply though. Both ends need to work in concert.

These New Monster Marzocchis aren't bad IMO. I'd guess they'd be even better with a change to a high-tech oil of the same weight. Unfortunately, mine has no drains, so quick swaps of oil and level-testing is a no-go. If it weren't such a hassle, I'd try replacing that 7.5W Shell Advance with some 10W (which is really more like 8W) Spectro. Had great luck with several of my BMW's with that stuff as it seems to just "slide" more easily.

If yours ain't broke now, don't fix it.Grin I'm sure it could be 10% better for another $5,000..., and you'd want that tuner you just used to do it. Wink

I hate to go off-topic, but can anyone explain why the shock is allowed to be mounted in an upside down orientation?
Are all Ohlins like this?

^^  No idea it works great though.  I can adjust the rebound/compression damping while riding which is actually pretty handy.  Yesterday I went out and found a ton of clean roads to play on.  It amazed me how much more stable the bike is than with the stock shock.
