Hey guys and gals, im doing my first Dry clutch removal and instal and I just removed the pieces and I cant tell if this surflex clutch is a slipper or regular one. How can you tell, came off of a 2002 Monster S4. Thanks in advance!!

Also I bought a barnett clutch basket plates and springs.... would they work with this set up?

if those links do not work, the first 3 pics are my clutch: https://www.flickr.com/photos/djblackrabbit/

Yes, that's a slipper clutch.

I wouldn't count on it working properly with the Barnett springs and plates, as slipper clutches are very sensitive to stack height and spring pressure.

Likely just fine with the Barnett basket.

thanks man, ima try and find a used drum and start fresh, I dont have the dough at the moment for a full new slipper system

If you've got the springs, just get the surflex plate set.
