Is the Wix 57013 filter chrome and/or made in China?  I've always likes Wix filters but it would kill me to put a chrome Chinese filter on it.  I need a filter now but plan on ordering a few Ducati filters for later on.  I might even get a K&N just to get me on the road again.

One of these days Tiz says he is going to get around to testing the Amsoil filter I sent him, but if you read through the oil thread,  http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=1912.0  George thought the Amsoil filter was quite a lot better than anything else that was on the market, but that was a couple of years ago and I'm sure other filters have copied the technology

Why not just get the K&N if it is easily available?  Known good quality.

I personally use/sell Hiflo, no issues, but as Howie says, if the K&N is readily available, why not purchase it?
   Huh?
