I've done a lot of Mx racing in my past but after 2 surgerys (torn labrum in three places, torn ac in two and 1/4" cut off my collar bone) I kinda had to stop racing in the dirt. So that leads me to my question, are there any gp style tracks in or around SW Missouri?

And what mods would I have to do to make my m9 track legal?

Thanks,
Grant  popcorn

Hallet in Jennings, OK

Heartland Park Topeka

There was rumor of a track being designed/built in Branson but that was back in 2011.

Unfortunately, you are sort of in a dead zone for road courses.

As for getting your M900 ready for the track, I would buy an SV650. LOL.
You are going to rapidly find the limits of the bike on the track. Ground clearance isn't great. High pipes and rearsets help.
Clipons will help too.
Other than that, the Monster isn't a great track weapon. It is doable but coming up with $2000-$3000 for an early to mid 2000s UJM dedicated/prepped track bike may make you happier in the end.
