I want an older one I can buy cheap do up and keep and not ever lose money on as long as I keep it nice.

Turns out my Monster is one of the last before the engine changed
 its a 97 that wasn't registered until 98.

This week on Ebay I was outbid on an 88 900s at £800
reckon this would have been a good candidate.

and a 98 registered 97 Monster 750  that needed the pickup coils changed  and a good clean and tidy it was only £560.

and today I missed a £640 94 600ss.

ideally I would like to buy and tidy them up for less than £1500 that way I could afford to do 2 a year..

I encourage you to look into one of the many bid snipe websites.
