796 clutch

Jumped on the bike today, first time in weeks. The clutch biting point was really close to the grip and I had slam it into gear.  Anyone experience this? After a few miles it seemed to ease up.

Is there any easy adjustment for the clutch?

 Sounds like it needs bleeding.

Thanks I'm also told it could bathe clutch sticking due to prolonged periods of disuse.  I'll wait and see if it happens again
