Removed my crankcase cover for powder coating which means I had to unbolt the clutch slave. But I just left it hanging there tied to the frame. After putting it all back together (on the first ride) at first neutral was hard to find now it's impossible. I have an aftermarket Oberon I was going to put on but I wanted to make sure everything was normal before I did. Should I bleed the clutch and try and remedy the problem first? Or should I just put the Oberon on and bleed it and resolve it after? I know lots of folks have issues finding neutral after installing the Oberon so I'd like to know it's not a pre-existing issue before putting on the Oberon. Thoughts?

I'd probably bleed it before swapping in the Oberon.  And/or, you can also tie the lever against the bar overnight.

It might be good to know you are fully functional and the current slave is working properly before changing to a wide piston slave with less travel.

Plus, if you bleed now, when you do install the Oberon you will have nice clean/dry fluid in the lines.  This is also a great time to replace those two little O-rings on the clutch rod if you haven't done that in a while.
