Chain rubbing hoop bolt??

I was just doing a pre ride look over and noticed that my chain just about rubs the bolt that holds the hoop to the swing arm. During use I'm sure it rubs because the right side of the chain rivets are shiny and the tip of the bolt is angled.
Chain appears straight and when I get my rear stand back from my neighbor I will measure for axle alignment but I'm usually pretty anal about my chain set up.

My only guess is that either the axle nut wasn't torqued enough and has moved slightly and i cant percieve the chain misalignment or the bolt for the hoop on that side is screwed in too far.

Is this a common issue?

Flip the bolt around, the head of it should sit pretty much flush with the tab on the swing arm, the end that the nut screws onto faces away from the chain.

I made the same mistake a couple weeks ago, luckily I noticed before I took it for a ride  ;D

Yeah. I examined the chain and the rivets aren't really worn. Just appear "polished" on the one side.
I guess if you see me posting in the Parts Wanted section for cases you know what happened...
