Hypermotard 1100 Engine Cases

Will 2010 796 engine cases fit on a 2008 1100 engine? Or does anyone have cases that will fit a 2008 1100 Hyper?

no 796 cases won't fit
but you can use 1100 MTS cases as well

Do you think previous year Multi cases will work? I found cases from a 2005 1000DS on ebay. These are turning out to be tougher to find then I first thought.

hyper and multistrada cases (not the new watercooled models) should all be the same for the 1000cc and higher.

the later model year cases are lighter.
