I have some rope and few bricks.
I am not pro in tech questions, but as any rider have some experience that I can share without claiming to absolute truth. Please use my advices responsibly.

The way I've always seen it done is that you get get two car jacks and lay a piece of 2x4 across them, under the swingarm.

A decent rear stand can be had for around $40, might be worth it if you plan on continuing to do your own maintenance.
