Hi all - I might have a chance to buy a 2nd hand Quat D X box exhaust from a 96 2 valve monster.

Do you think it would fit my 1100 evo or am I being cheap and just downright silly?

I was thinking the box would fit but the headers might not

Thanks man - had a closer look and a bit of a measure and all looks very similar but the rear header pipe is different due to the shock position on the SSS

I have one on gumtree and someone enquired with the same questions.

It was indeed my friend - I'm still considering yours as a mate might be able to make a new rear header for me. Wish we lived in the same place mate

we meet again John.. sort off!  :)

personally...  I'd say, move on..
Like I said in our emails, I'd doubt it'll fit.
I seriously think your energy would be better focused on something that'll fit 'your bike'.

unless...your happy to play!  [evil]
(search for my exhaust thread and you'll see I made my own. That's why I'm selling it the exbox...)

To answer the question - no it wont

Physical mounts are probably different and the connections to the headers is very different
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.
