New M821 & M1200 exhaust styling flaw???? water traps ????

any one else think that the new M821 and 1200 exhausts are rain water traps the end cap opens almost horizontally to the sky,, in a downpour especially when parked in the open could see you pride and joys exhaust system fill with water ,, which would be disaterous when starting ,, massive pressure overload = blown engine ?

maybe Im being paranoid as I really like these new models , rode a 1200 in UK a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed .

I have jumped on after one is parked in the rain for hours, started no problem, rode in the rain, also no problem.
