2007 Sport Classic dash, for a carbed Monster...could it work?

Hello

I have a chance to purchase the following new old stock parts: a new '06 S2R wiring harness and an 06 Sport Classic dash. I'm wondering what else I'd need to make this work. I have an Ignitech...or would a CPU be required, and if so, would the CPU have to handle ignition duties? I know this seems like a silly venture but I really love the look of that dash, and since I'm going to be building a SC with a frame from Randy eventually anyway...I could use all those parts.
