Just wanted to say hi  ;D  I'm in San Ramon, CA, recently picked up a M696 Dark.  Stock, but changed to 14T sprocket.  Moving from a Suzuki DRZ 400 Dual Sport.  Decided separate street and dirt bikes make sense.  Spend a lot of winter time in Baja near La Paz.  I went into the dealer (Ace Motorsports) looking for a Triumph Street Triple (none to be found), but the Monster felt just right.  Have about 300 miles & love it.  Had an oil leak at the filter due to a bad O ring, but the dealer fixed.  Thanks to everyone for sharing all the information - these forums are great!!

After more than 12.5k miles on my bike, I still have my reflectors. ;)
