Here's the kit. I was very impressed with the quality and fit of this Product. A+ applause

Tools I used
4mm hex bit socket
5mm hex bit socket
4mm allen wrench
5mm allen wrench
ratchet with 3" extension
small flat screwdriver
T20 security bit
di-electric grease
electrical pliers
#1 Remove seat
#2 Remove three screws above plate mount
I used a 4 mm hex bit

#3 Remove four cap bolts from fender assembly
You need a holdback to do this. I used a 5mm hex bit on top and a 5mm allen wrench on bottom. pic below

lower the unit and disconnect seat lock cable and blinker wiring plugs. ( I labled both sides of the right blinker plug for easy reinstalation)
next disconnect the exhaust valve cable. A plastic clip secures it in place. pic below

Now you can remove the brakelight plug. I had some trouble removing the pug so I removed the brakelight itself to give me more room to get it.( I used a T20 security bit) pic below

#5 Remove assembly from bike reconnect exhaust cable and clip
#6 remove blinkers and seat lock and install on tail tidy
I did one blinker at a time so i didn't confuse left or right.(fit was perfect) Connect brake light and spade connectors to led wires (spade connectors included in kit)
#7 reconnect electrical and test

If all is well secure wiring with included zip ties

connect seat lock cable.
#8 loosely install unit with included spacers
I used some di-electric greace on the top of the spacers to hold them in place during install ( tip included in instructions)

Check to make sure no wiring or cables are being pinched then tighten tail tidy.
Check seat lock operation.
Enjoy

This kit fit perfectly very high quality I would recommend this product

I have an Evotech Tail Tidy on my m696.  Great product I would also recommend!

Nice thread, it helped me yesterday when I put mine on.  The only thing I could add is that if you unplug the main harness for the tail light and the turn signals on the right hand side of the bike, underneath, you don't have to unplug the tail light.  I tried for like 5 minutes to unplug the tail light with that silly system they have, and then discovered just unplugging the harness.  The instructions state this, but they are very unclear.

I love the product also.

Thanks.

Thank you DucNaked.  Your detailed post with pictures was a great supplement to the supplied installation instructions.  I usually try to do these things without reading instructions and tried to do so without referring to this post.  So I only referred to your post when I got stuck, which was only every step.  Grin

+1 on the quality of the EvoTech Tail Tidy.

Ciao!
