Ignition issues

Hi, I just installed an Odyssey PC680 battery in my 2000 M750.  When tightening the positive terminal nut, I touched the wrench to an ignition coil, and it left a little burn mark.  The bike wouldn't start after, but sounded like 1 cylinder was firing, so I figured I burned out an ignition coil.  Just replaced both coils, but it didn't fix the problem.  I figure it could be the ignition module.  Anyone know a way to test this?

Also, I pulled the plugs and hit the starter, but didn't see a spark on either plug.  Maybe I'm looking wrong, or could this indicate a different problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Swap ignition modules side to side, see if the spark/no spark follows the modules.

In the future disconnect negative first, connect negative last.
