Flight Cycle's SS2R now lives in my town

Built by our very own Stuart Baker (Duck-Stew) a few year ago. It now belongs to a friend of mine. Beautiful bike. I recognized it right away. It no longer has the fancy gold wheels or the gold Ohlins front end, but it still looks good to me. I had a chance to sit on it. It was impressively light. I'm not sure what it weighs, but it felt about 50 lbs lighter than my 2005 M1000s. It felt about as light as the Triumph Street Triple. Sorry for the IZ_ pics, but it was getting dark out and I only had my cell phone with me.
For those of you that haven't seen it here are some details on the bike.

COOL! It's good to see 'the 'ol gal'... Even if someone got rid of the very last set manufactured by Cycle-Cat of custom black/gold clip-ons, the Ohlins forks and gold Marchesini's... Does it still have the Ohlins rear shock?
I hope it's still a high-comp 900SSi.e. engine...
The *only* thing I wish I would've done is a Hyper-Motard oil cooler line for the one that crosses over the belt cover. Oh well, that's an easy fix for the new owner. I hope whomever owns it enjoys it safely.
It was
such
a fun bike to build and ride. Thanks for the post!!

It does still have the Ohlins rear shock. It is still a high compression motor. Curious why you didn't go with the 944 cc pistons while replacing the pistons. I'll mention the Hypermoard oil-line upgrade to the owner. Most, if not all, of the missing goodies were recently taken off at DucPond. For the seller it was probably the smart thing to do. It is a shame the Cycle-Cat clipons are no longer on there. The current clipons are much lower and the owner is not comfortable.

Wow.. that bike was one of the reasons I decided to get a monster in the first place.. a little sad to see it's been downgraded, but still looks great

Customer was coming off of an M620. The high-comp 904cc motor was plenty of upgrade from where he was at. Plus, the budget wasn't there for that much motor work.
W/regard to the Cycle-Cats: Well, at least you can order them again (or last time I heard anything as I don't keep up with it all anymore).

Mine has too. Which should pretty much offset the added value of your ass-print.
