Can anyone tell me how much of a job it is to remove the clutch and oppsite casing as road salt has got to them and I want to remove them, get them blasted and paint them up.
I presume I've got to drain the oil.  Is there any other major issue with removing them with the motor in the frame??

No, but you will need a special tool to remove the alternator cover (left side of the bike).  They can be purchased, made, or improvised.

! Is there a part number or link so I can see what it looks like (and where it fits)?

It's pretty obvious where it goes.

You can make one too with some flat stock and a few screws.

Takes 10 minutes to remove each side case
As long as it needs to blast them to clean up
And as long as it takes to paint them.
