Does any sprocket 'cover' / flange ( stock part # 16010211C - replaced by 16014211A) fit in any aftermarket quick change carrier? Specifically/probably/hopefully stock flange in my AFAM quick change carrier.

I think I need to replace the flange, that's why I ask.
Not enough time to order new AEM flange - must be prepared to mix & match to get it safely running.

BACKGROUND:

My left side 41 mm axle nut was loose and the clip had started eating the nut  >:( ???
Easy enough, replace nut and clip .....

, but hey, not so fast .... why did the nut become loose ...
Since the flange now moves a little on the axle - my guess is that it turned the nut.
Worn splines maybe?

Also, around one of the cush bolts the flange aluminum cracked  [bang]

There are 2 kinds of AFAM QC carriers that are relevant to your situation.

PCD-1 and PCD-2, made to each fit slightly different dimensions of the sprocket flanges.

You should have a PCD-1.
If you follow the links and click on the 'details' tab, it'll show you which models are which.
I'd stay away from the SBK flanges, as some of the early ones had a great big snapring that makes life unnecessarily difficult.
Not sure what year they changed the SBK flanges to the normal style.

I do find a significant percentage of those nuts a bit loose on bikes that come in.

Well, as it is, my PCD1 is ok.

It's the flange that needs replacement.

I called Drive Systems' tech support and they confirmed that the stock flange will fit my QC carrier, so a stock flange is what I'll try to source in no time ... (I hate last minute issues)

My awkwardly phrased point was that there are 2 different OEM flanges.

You want the ones from the models listed as compatible with the PCD-1.

i see quite a few oose too.  or so massively tight my big rattle gun won't undo them.

i had one that i fitted a quick change to, and the next time it saw it it was loose.  i know i had torqued it.
