Discs between cooling fins

A couple of the little hockey puck looking things in between the cooling fins have fallen out. Is that just something that happens or is it a big deal?

Ok, thanks guys. I saw one in the driveway and I was pretty sure it fell off the bike but I didn't pay it much attention. Then a few days later at work I saw another one on the ground and then it dawned on me where it came from.

I looked it over and didn't figure it was too worrisome.
