Alan! That's awesome!!  How do you like it?  I have no doubt it's more fun than a barrel of monkeys in the mountains but how comfortable do you find it?  I rented an R1200GS in Phoenix and rode it 6 hrs to Flagstaff and was ready for 6 more the same day.  I rented a Triumph Explorer and found it more fun but slightly less comfortable.  My expectation would be that the Duc continues in the same direction as the Triumph - even more fun but less comfortable still...?  That's my one hesitation with the Multi.  That and lack of cruise control.  Maybe I'm wrong and you find it as comfortable as a GS?  Because if so, then I'm sold.  - That GS was obviously by far the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden.
