Soooo As you know dc is lets just say diffrent.  In recent years motorcycle no longer require safety inspection/ Before that period motorcycle were required for inspection but they did not ride them and provided a decal that expired in 2017 after the look over the bike. seriously!  Well last week or maybe two weeks ago.  We now have to apply this silver decal on the tag that says HEY I DONT NEED TO BE INSPECTED.  If you dont have the decal on your tag.  DC finest ticket writers can now  write you a ticket for not having a NON inspection decal on your tag. .  So if you are tagged in dc ensure you have the non inspecton decal on your tag.  The decal is free and should arrive in the mail.  yes this is a true story dc

I'm assuming this means you actually got a ticket for that?  I need to check my license plate when I get home but I don't remember anything like that at all.  I probably tossed it lol.
