3 bikes don't take up much more room in a garage than 2, get a new Monster 821.
After all, what kind of story would it be if Goldilocks ran into just 2 bears???

You're gonna fit in well here.  [evil]

I'm all for 3 bikes but the 2015 Diavel spend makes an 821 unrealistic at the moment and as Monsters go I really do prefer the Aircooled Twins.  I'm considering either selling the 620  :'( and buying an S2R 1000 or going for DuckStews suggestion of an Upper End Swap with the Ferraci Pistons on the 620.

Why do you feel like you need more power from your 620 when you have a Diavel in your garage? I don't understand.

How bout a DS1000 engine swap for the 620, then score an old frame from Pinwall and throw a rat 620 together gradually...that's kinda how I ended up with my "Rat 750", with all the spares I'd accumulated over the years. I still think you'd miss the 620 and having a bike you don't mind thrashing and crashing is nice.

Its the Diavel that makes me feel that way. I go back & forth between the two bikes often & the contrast in power makes the 620 seem underpowered. Never felt that way before I had the Diavel. Plus I still like to take the Monster out when riding with other guys and though she handles great & keeps up on twisty roads she gets left behind on the straight-aways.

No thanks. Speed Triple is a great bike to ride (I've put a  couple hundred miles on one) but I need a bike I can look at all day lovingly and the Speed Triple doesnt do it for me.

Is an 2002 Monster 900 not a clean engine swap in to a 2005 Monster 620?

Same ecu/exhaust issue. Everything else should swap over fine as far as I know.
M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

900 or DS1000 will get you a dry clutch....
