M1100 headlight surround - removing

Hi,
I want to take this off & p/coat, is it fairly straight-forward?

Very straightforward. 

Doing this from memory... but...  two bolts locate the headlight bezel where it mounts to the lower triple... and at the top it just hooks into two rubber mounted loops...  disconnect the loom and the whole assembly is in your hands.  The speedo is mounted to the top of the headlight bezel so you'll need to unplug it's loom too.... 

I cant remember whats involved in stripping the metal bezel away from the headlight itself.... but there's not much to it...  nothing to catch you out.
