Hey guys.

My front forks (right one) has a seal leak.
One shop in Miami, who I trust with my moto  Otalora Racingsuggested I search for Showa Internals (they are on vacation now or out of town ...). I have been looking on ebay for a while and searching on web for information. I get no hits for Showa Internals on Ebay though there are other hits. I do not know or understand mechanics/compatibility of shocks/suspension/springs.

Can you guys shed some light/advice?

My bike is a 2002 Ducati Monster S4. The front forks have "knobs" that can be adjusted with something like a flat screw driver. The rear shock says "SACHS". I am confident they are stock but Ducati Monster Bikes come stock with all sorts of parts/combos.

I'll take pics tomorrow in case it helps.

Thanks

SpikeC

You might want to try a product called SealMate. it is a piece of plastic that is used to clean the inside of the seal, making it seal again. I have had very good luck with it and have made my own version when needed while out on the road.

do you want fork seals for it?  skf make nice kits, you need 43-s.  they used to be green, now they're black, but i'd confirm that.  unless you like shitty green.

sweet will surely try that leak patch.

other information/links/mods to how shocks work and such would be great for possible future changes though she is a street bike and ohlin internals and such not necessary YET  ;D

+1 for sealmate. I thought I needed new seals. Tried the sealmate and turns out it was just some dirt trapped in there.
