Heat related failure of Clutch Hose????

My clutch hose ( pipe) has started to leak where the hose runs over the Engine Case ( bottom end of hose). It is severely discolored and appears to have be "damaged/weakened" by the heat of the engine case. That is the only place the discoloration ( dark black almost "burnt" looking) has appeared.

Is this a known issue on the Monsters? Was it routed incorrectly at some point?

Thoughts and guidance???

Same thing happened to my 07 Multistrada; the hydraulic line turned dark brown where it ran across the alternator cover and sprang a leak. Near as I can tell it was routed correctly. When I replaced it I tie-wrapped to the frame, away from the engine...Been fine since (20k+miles)...
