Thanks everyone for the help and cheap parts!  It's great to belong to a community that is so willing to help bring back a busted up bike.  My wife LOVES it and said she never know what she saw in cruisers.  I asked her what her favorite thing was and she said by far the handling.  A happy wife makes for a happy life  Smiley

I'll try and remember to snap a pic on our next ride   Dolph

thanks for this dark duc, I am about to do something very similar for my wife, this thread was inspirational and educational.

I will be starting my build thread soon. I hope it wont take to long and be able to finish it for her by the end of the year. Smiley
