Have just fitted my shiny new EVR CDU200-KO clutch kit to the S4R

Appears to be a slight clearance issue with the basket now rubbing on the rubber clutch cover seal. Width wise issue not height.
Given I am running an open clutch cover, my assumption is not having a seal there is no big issue. It all goes together fine with no rubbing without the seal.

2 Questions...

1. Has anyone fitted this kit to an S4R before with or without clearance issues?
2. Am I missing the point with my seal assumption?

Most people ditch the seal with an open cover as it makes no sense.

Keep in mind the factory rubber seal has metal spacers in it that may be providing adequate clearance for your open cover.

Thanks Nate.

The Rizoma is pretty high with a gradual curve, so all seems fine that direction.
