Non-slip Seat Cover Question

Hey all.  2000 M900 i.e. I'm going to have my seat rebuilt to improve comfort on longer rides.  I'm in the process of ordering a custom cover, but I'm not sure if I want to go with the non-slip vinyl for the rider section.  On one hand, I hate sliding forward all the time (which new foam should largely fix), but on the other, I don't necessarily want my riding jeans/textiles bunching up in all the wrong places either.  Anyone have experience with non-slip seats?

The discomfort will be worse with a non slip material (bunching) and you'll lose most of the ability to move around.

I got non-slip on the side sections of my custom cover + Tech-Spec pads on the tank = very functional and comfortable.

The passenger seat is another story. I'd recommend non-slip or a Tribo Seat cover there.

That's exactly what I ended up getting  .  I just traded the Part A non-slip for regular black vinyl.  I'm going to have the seat re-shaped so that I'm not sliding forward, but still have the ability to move around a bit.

They did that for me, at a very reasonable charge and very professional result. I wanted a higher seat, mounted and shaped the foam myself and then they asked if I was ok with another 50 or so, to build a frontal 'frame' to keep it sturdy. I assume most shapes are within their comfort zone, but then they need the seat to make a custom pattern. I shipped my seat trans-atlantic and still think it was worth it.

He will recover with any cover you ship to him, provided you have made that arrangement with him. There are brands of covers he will not work with, so approval is necessary. The covers he will not work with can be interesting.   Think Corbin or Russel.

His business focuses more on the support material(s) than the covering.
