S2R 800 front end upgrade project

I am not the most handiest guy but Last summer I fixed several issues with all your help.

I am about to embark on upgrading my bikes front end. With your help and advice I purchased over the summer

fully adjustable showa forks off an st2
S2R1k rotors, callipers and master cylinder

I am also planning to get clip ons.

So now the snow has cleared, my wife is parking the car outside and I can begin work in garage

So I will begin with my questions I thank you all in advance

So my first order of business is fairly simple to paint my callipers and rotors and make them look nice n fresh before I install

I want to keep callipers black.. Should I use any caliper brush on paint from local auto parts store? Any recommendations? Also How can I keep the brembo part from getting painted? I was thinking using nail polish on the letters and then wiping off

Also

The s2r1k rotors are black in the center. I want to paint them silver metallic to kind of look like the rotors I already have.. What's the best way to do this? Remove the bolts and paint or mask up and paint?

Here they are the parts prior to paint and also my bike as is.. If possible I want to make these black 1k rotors looks all silver like the ones I have

Keep the pictures coming!!
Suggestion (next on my list to do) would be to replace the right side oil line. Really cleans the look of the bike up. From what I've read, the one you need is the right side Hypermotard 1100. Double check this before you buy it, but that's what I've read works.

Prepping the calipers and rotors can't be easy, but if done well I guess the result will be fine.

I'd choose a flat black paint. Gloss would look silly?

Maybe you need a mm clearance around the rotor buttons (cleaning the buttons requires to spin them and that would damage the paint otherwise)

I was hoping some one that painted theirs would chime in.. I will google and YouTube it.. And thanks for the oil line tip jduke

while not on the same bike, i have done rotors and calipers on my other bikes.
the key is in prep, you wanna make sure ALL of the grease and oil is not there.

i used high temp paint, and for instance the wheels and rotors on this R1 lasted 30K miles and 5 years later (when i say lasted, its because i sold the bike, I'm sure with proper care they would still be gold to this day), with only a few scratches from all the tire changes, but nowhere else, just on the edges, caliper carriers were completely untouched, not even a scratch anywhere.
and the hayabusa i painted the calipers red, same procedure, year or riding later, no problem, and inner part of the wheels gold. (can ya tell i like gold?)

its really not a big deal, and calipers were actually painted while still attached to the bike, well the lines at least, they were unbolted 'hanging' while painted.

Looks very nice. Did you use spray on or brush?
