695 Fuel Tank 620 Compatible?

Hello everyone, i'm new to the board. Bought my wife a 2003 Monster 620ie early last year. Her skill level has advanced enough that i've started making some mods. The tank has a couple dents (normal) however the one on the left side is pretty substantial. This winter I plan on stripping the bike down and having the trellis frame, tank and fenders painted. I found a few tanks online (OUCH! $$$$) but don't really want to drop $700-$2,000 on a tank for a bike I paid $3,000.00 for. Ran across one from an estate sale that is very resonable off a 2007 Monster 695.

Anyone know if the 2007 Monster 695 Fuel Tank will fit in place of the 2003 Monster 620ie?

(sidenote, where would one post pix of their mods? Again, new guy here just wanting to share my little baby duc project )

Decidedly yes.  Ducati warranty replaced my 695 tank with a 620 tank.  .

Make sure the tank doesn't appear puffy or swollen.
