Idle issue

So I changed the oil, cleaned the carbs but did not remove the slides, and installed exactfit coils. Went to a bike meet a few weeks ago and all operated fine. Rode today and I experienced a hanging idle after mostly warm (about 170F). Cruising around town there was no loss of power or pops from the exhaust. Hang would occur when coming to a light. If I blipped the throttle the rpms would drop to normal.
I thought maybe the idle screw (FCRs). Turned down the idle and it wanted to stall.
Carb sync?
Valve adjustment maybe?
Intake leak?
Edit: I had this same issue from way back. I think my carbs might be too rich actually. With the hang coming from the fuel load just before a stop.

It can be caused by a few things.

Normally its caused by too lean an idle mixture. Just double check your cable routing, it could be kinked. Check cable slack, it could be over adjusted. A simple test would be to turn out the idle mixture screws 1/2 turn and see if that helps. Whats the ims setting? What size slow fuel jets (pilot jets?).

An air leak is a possible cause but blipping it seems to fix it. Spray wd40 at the manifold rubbers to see if the idle speed changes.

Rarely, if its way way too rich it can hang because the idle speed knob is turned in extra to stop it stalling. What about plug colour?
Out of interest when were the valves done? How did you clean the carbs?
A carb synch is a good idea or at least checking it sometime.
The throttle blip could be just letting hanging slides seat so look at that cable.

I'm guessing it must be human error and I didn't put shiz back properly. I'll check for leaks but with darker than optimal plugs my thought is I put all the screws in after cleaning and didn't pay attention to how many turns I had.
So I suppose I'll sync em and go back to baseline with my settings. A smaller pilot is in there so that should help.
