Odd Turn Signal Problem Since Crash

Since I crashed last July I have had an intermittent issue with the turn signal fuse blowing when right front signal is activated.  If I unplug the right front signal wires then the right rear works just fine.  Sometimes, they both work for a while and then when I activate the right signals the fuse will blow.  Again, it works fine with just the right rear hooked up.

I have changed out the right front signal three times.  They are mini signals from Cycle Gear.  They all worked but I thought maybe there was an issue.

This past week I stripped the outer insulation off the harness containing the right front signal wiring (and a bunch of other things).  No bare wires.  No loose wires.  No crimped wires.  I made sure the harnesses were not getting crimped when the bars were turned full lock right and left.  Both right signals worked fine when tested.  I again moved bars from lock to lock.  Signals worked fine.

Went for a ride today and the first time I activated right signals the fuse blew.   [bang] So, I disconnected the right front signal wires and carried on.  Right rear worked fine all day.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to look at next?

Thanks!

I would still suspect a wire to the front right intermittently grounding.

Try running a temporary supply wire to the front right for a while and see if it obviates the problem.
