There's some rubber wire ties that Ducati and KTM have used. My M900 has them, and so did my KTM 690

For reference, some of them are items 17, 18, 40 on page 43 of the 2000 M900 parts diagrams

I want to get more... but be they KTM or Ducati, each one is usually over $2 a pop.

McMaster Carr doesn't stock this flavor. I've seen some other close- but not quites.

And there's always velcro...

But I'd like some more of these if possible. Any parts miners know of a less obvious and less expensive source?

A while back I got some from a wrecker/breaker, but since then gave up on finding the exact bits and just use black cable ties.

My ratty Monster Dark looks like a piece of agricultural equipment, nobody has yet stopped me in the street and abused me for having non-standard electrical fasteners...........

Yeah, I got some a while back via a breaker. Just planning a bit of work on the track bike and wanted to have some (more) extras on hand for that

I bought the Velcro ties that wrap the tube from McMaster.  I like them.
