I finished my 2 into 1 exhaust system today by mounting it up.  Yesterday I applied the header wrap and clamps that I was eagerly awaiting.  The sound is incredible, I'll upload a sound clip soon.  I'm pretty much done, I don't want to tinker with it anymore I just want to ride it.  All thats left is to get it painted and I'll just leave it alone.  But till then I'll just burn the rubber off of it.

Exhaust looks good, I'd be interested in the before/after dyno - doh.  You need to peel that stupid DML sticker off the clutch cover; unless of course they're paying you to advertise.

He's prob waiting like me for a suitable replacement (MODS? BUELLER? ANYONE?) and has some good memories of where it all started. For those of us who know what the sticker is, we know why it would still be on someone's bike and that we are all on this forum now. For those who don't, we just tell them about this place when asked...

I know about the sticker, but like bigtime said, it's where it started.  And it's a damn good logo as well  Cry I'm waiting for my replacement as well.

Nice job, Gil.  Looks good.  I have a 2-1 Galasetti that I bought from supertjeduc that sounds fantastic as well.  But, alas, it gave me about 1-2 hp on top vs. my RoadRacing pipes but lost about 3 ft/lbs of torque in midrange where I like it.  So it looks like I'm going to go with the "wake-up-the-dead" RR pipes.

Next you need to lose that Ohlins res.   Grin

It's my next project, and one I can do while I recover from back surgery I'm having next week.  Got the Euro mount (that replaces the emissions cannister mount) and I'm shipping my shock back to Ohlins to have them shorten the hose and re-locate the ends so it will mount properly.
I'll be posting a write up when I get it done.

Like you, I'm ready to ride.  All that's left is to get my bodywork back from Nate (although the set I got from you is working great) and the shock and it's good to go.

Oh, and getting the front Alpina machining finished.

PHUCKE

It's NEVER finished.  Grin

Right on man, good to see things are moving in the right direction for you.  I had a local hose shop do my lines to my specs, cost me about $50 a line. A little on the expensive side from what I've heard.  They were local and I didn't feel like driving.  Good luck with the surgery  waytogo
