Looking at renting a bike from Rent A Ducati in San Diego just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with them ...good or bad. I think it's the same Rent A Ducati operation out of LA just a different location.

I have rented from them 3 times, usually when I have a friend visiting from out of town and want to ride with them. Renting couldn't be easier, although the price is a little steep. All the pickup and drop off is handled at GP Motorcycles which is a great place with great staff. GP does all the maintenance ob the bikes as well.  GP is not open on Sunday and Monday which can complicate pickup and drop off so check about that. The entire process couldn't be easier and because it is handled by the staff at GP getting the bike and getting on the road is quick

Thats why they want to charge me an extra $50 for Sunday pickup. If they also want to charge me another extra $50 for Monday drop off. Thats a bit much. I might have to go Triumph Tiger which is a shame cause Im a die hard Ducatista but $350 for an 821 vs $200 for a Tiger is considerable.

Agreed, the Sunday - Monday issue is problematic.
I have been able to schedule my rides so that I pickup Friday evening and return Saturday evening when friends visit
