Tire Recommendations

I'm due for new tires soon.  Looking to get sports touring tires b/c I've found that they last longer and I don't ride that aggressively through the canyons. Also I never ride in the rain so I don't care about performance when wet.  I'm thinking to get the Avon Storm 2's b/c they seem like a good value.  Any others that anyone would recommend? Currently I have a pair of Pirelli Strada's from a few years back; they are whatever.
