Fuel tank latch!!

Does anyone know where i can find a fuel tank latch for a '93 m900?? It's seriously the one thing she needs besides tires! :-\

nope. not sure how different, but they do indicate a different part number for each model.  It very will may simply be an aesthetic difference.

I have a 1993 metal tank on my 2006 s2r1k, using the latch which came with the metal tank FWIW....

that's a good point. Match the latch to the tanks year, not the bikes. the piece that connects to the bike (the "U" shaped wire) is pretty much the same for all of them, the bolt pattern/curve/footprint are pretty different.

Different year Monsters had several different latches.

There were shiny metal ones...black anodized metal ones...and black plastic latches.

IIRC the length was different depending on the vintage of the tank, but all are somewhat adjustable for length.
