1100 clutch drum. New part or Retro fit?

Threw some sweet clutch parts in my Hyper. It was too loud a clutch, even with an OEM cover as the basket was chopped.

My Nichols basket fitted, but I couldn't use my juicy Vee Two billet Drum. Sure enough, the newer style drum in my Hyper is taller to accommodate the extra plates in the pack, so my Vee Two drum will only work with the older dry clutch. All that extra torque I guess.. The older style OEM drum may not securely hold the last steel driven plate which could escape the drum teeth. Don't want that. Be wary then of aftermarket billet drums. Measure it all up.

Is the 1100 drum a separate OEM part with it's own number or does it retrofit to the older clutches even though it's a little taller?

If you have some old but sweet aftermarket clutch spares, they may not fit your dry clutch 1100.
