Okay so I attributed the not wanting to stay running to the lean condition caused by not having it tuned yet. But now that it's been tuned the starting hasn't gotten better.
Mods that have been done: Airbox removal Velocity stacks Emissions canister removal
For the canister removal I removed the tubes lines that goto the nipple on the throttle body and plugged the hole with a m6x8mm screw as I was instructed to.
So let me elaborate on exactly what it's doing. I go to start the bike. Thumb starter, turn turn, fire, dies. It will stay started if I immediately give it just a teensy bit of throttle.
Once it's warmed up and I've been riding, it starts no throttle.
Just for shits and giggles I removed the screw that was used to plug the hole for the throttle body. Thumb Starter, turn turn, VROOOM. Idles all the way to 4000 rpm.
I'm at a loss. Some one help.

I was always under the influence that if you adjust the screws in the throttle body, you will then have to have TPS and what not reset?

tps reset on the siemens is easy.
the idle screws are under the plastic caps.
what is the bike idling at when warm?

When warm I was idling at 1150-1250. I adjusted the screws and now it's much better. Starts up and maintains idle. 1200-1300 rpm.
Ung: I had the Ecu reflashed to the termi slip on mapping as the base. Open loop, disabled exhaust flapper, and 02 sensors. Dyno tuned and adjusted fueling all through the rev range to compensate for the pods.

So.. just to be clear, the won't idle issue only appeared post intake mods?

No, no piggy back. I meant termi slip on as the starting point to alter for my setup. Everything was hunkydory before the stacks and canister removal. I adjusted the idle screws and now she fires right up. Now I just need to use some paint on the screw and find the caps.

Turn the air bleeds in 1/4 turn. Better? Yes? Good. Worse? Go back to the starting point. Now turn them out. I don't remember if CO trim is adjustabl;e on the EVO, but if it is you might think of having a shop set trim since cold start and cold idle are open loop.

Started this morning from a dead cold start. Started up and hovered around 1400-1500 for around 60seconds. Then lowered to 1200-1300 for a steady idle and did not stall.

Update:
Adjusted idle air screws to a good spot where I was within the idle tolerance 1300 +\- 100 rpm.
Started this afternoon after a nice cold soak. Started strong. Hovered around 1500. For a second. After 5-10 seconds, stalled. Thumbed starter again started and stayed idling 1200-1300. Quick twist of the throttle after warm and when coming back down it would stop and hover at 1500-1600.
It's so hard to make an adjustment to see if it helps the cold start because once it's warmed even just a little bit, it's fine.

Updated 2: Found a spot (2.5 turns from full close) when once warm i am idling at 1250-1300 (occasionally showing 1350). The engine was still just ever so slightly warm so it didnt stall. But .25 turn counter-clockwise and the idle would stick too high coming to a stop (1600+ rpm) and .25 turns clockwise and the idle drops out of tolerance.
Hopefully this translates into no more cold start stall but it will have to wait until tomorrow. Im getting pretty irritated, and im sure my neighbors just love me at this point.
