Positive ground?

2001 M750.  Are these bikes positive ground.  I hooked up y battery tender and it told me I had the wires reversed.  I put the red on the negative and the black on the positive terminal and all is well battery charged and glowing green.  What gives?

They are not positive ground.

I can't imagine why your tender is acting like that without putting eyes on it.

That's what I thought.  Must be the pig tail was put together incorrectly at the factory came with red & black eyes.

It would only have positive ground if it was a 60's Triumph or Norton.
