The X is smaller than the 8plus, but with a bigger screen.

Looked at my friends the other day. Barely larger then the 8 as  you said. As soon as they get rid of the gap in the screen up top I'll get one.

Arrived this evening. I'll peel the plastic off tomorrow.

I've had mine for about a week now. I had a mophie charging case on my 6 and it's about the same size length and width, obviously much thinner though. The no home button thing has a short learning curve, but otherwise no issues. battery life is very much improved. Face ID is super fast. Camera is amazing.

Overall, I like it.
