Power Commander 5/ 2012 Monster 1100 Evo, Does it work?

Hey guys, So i have a 2012 Monster 1100 Evo and I'm wanting to put the power commander 5 on it. But dynojet themselves don't list it for the 2012. They do up to 2011 though. Will that one work on the 2012 or do I have no choice but to use something else? Revzilla sells the PC 5 for 2009-2012 so I'm not sure if that's a typo or if it does work. Has anybody installed on on their 2012 1100 evo? Please help a guy out thanks.

You must have one of the last ones, running over into the next year. It should work, but get it dynotuned and know that the closed loop section of the map will not be touched unless you reflash the ECU or buy O2 Optimizers.

Cool thanks man. Yeah given that 2013 eas the last year for the air cooled monsters I figured it would work but I wasn't sure if there were any differences in the wiring harness or anything. I do plan on putting the autotune on as well, I'll be making this my winter project for this winter.

I have a 2012 M1100 EVO with a PCV. It works. You need to get the ECU flashed to get it to function properly though (as noted below). The bypass crap is useless.

I ran a PCV and O2 Optimizers on my Hyper Evo. I re-dynotuned the dynotuned derived map (way too rich) and was very happy with it. A hundred hp can happen. Dynojet Optimizers worked well and gave crisp response and good economy at lower revs and throttle positions while the PCV with its power focussed map was wonderfully wild about 1/4 throttle and 4000 rpm.
I tried O2 Optimizers/Eliminators from two other brands, but the ECU caught them out over a short time/mileage period of approximately 60 miles/hour triggering the engine light. Clever devil. A 2 into 1 Dual channel Optimizer unit from an M1100 worked, so enquire with DJ as they dont sell them for the Evo kit. A reflash bypasses the whole Optimizer thing and lets the PCV tune the whole range.

A reflash will also required a TPS reset from the dealership. Dont skip that like I did or you will be chasing gremlins for a while.
