Nissin master cylinders

Hi,
Looking to replace the clutch and front brake master cylinders (standard Brembo goldlines) on my 2001 m900. I replaced the original clutch one with a used one a while back but its starting to bypass, brake side isn't too bad (dust boot is long gone and the bleed nipple is snapped off) but at 17 years old it's going to give trouble sooner or later. The Nissin 5/8" axial master cylinders are a fraction of the price of the Brembo units and rebuildable (something which puts me off buying Brembo again) so I am looking seriously at these.
Anyone fitted the Nissin units?
The OEM braided lines look and feel fine - any point replacing while I am doing the masters.?
I guess I will need to fit an aftermarket clutch slave at the same time being that I will be going from a 12mm to a ~16mm clutch master.?
Cheers

What do you know about the ('gearing') pivot -> plunger distance on the new versus old? Could be different? I'd try the new clutch master with the current slave. Then decide about a new slave.
Going from 12 to 16 master is a change in piston area from 113 to 201mm (no smaller than 16mm Nissin?)
Going from 26 to 30 slave is a change in piston area from 531 to 707mm (32 is 804)
So, it's going to be very different unles the Nissin can be found in smaller size OR has it's very own 'gearing'...

Looks like you can get the Nissin clutch masters in 14mm or 5/8" (~16mm)

If choosing the Nissin requires a new slave.... won't a 12mm Brembo be as affordable?
