Japanese MotoGP

I'm off to Japan for the race this year. 
I'm going with a sports travel company mainly because I cant find much info about how to get to the track etc..
We'll be staying in Mito and the company arranges accommodation and travel to and from the track.
If anyone has been, apart from the Honda museum, what else is there to see and do in the area that has to do with motorcycles?
